Abstract

A numerical method for analyzing mechanical fields in a deformable body is presented. The graph model of an elastic medium in the form of a directed graph is employed in the proposed method. To describe a singularity that appears near a crack tip of an isotropic elastic material, a new type of a unit cell is introduced.
