The article provides an overview of the main works of the researchers of the Kungur laboratory-station of the Mining Institute of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. In 1948, in Kungur, near the widely known Kungur cave, the Caucasian Research Karst and Speleological Station (KNIKS) was established. Over the 75-year period, the Stationary has achieved undoubted success. To date, the scientific achievements of the Stationary includes more than 800 publications of employees, more than 200 reports on budgetary and economic contract topics, about 1400 engineering and geological projects. The most interesting and fruitful work was carried out in the caves and karst regions of the Urals, Siberia, Foreign Europe and Asia. This year, many years of research have been completed in the longest cave in the Perm Territory - Divya. The number of exhibits of the museum of karst and speleology, opened in 2005, has reached 5600 items. The fund base includes collections of the main fund (2424 items) and scientific auxiliary fund (3218 items).References
