Abstract

In the paper, an attempt is made to reconstruct and analyze the features of the way of life and adaptation of Russians having moved to Perm region from Chinese emigration in the 1930s-1950s. For the first time the archival documents, memoirs and field research materials, studied by the author, are introduced into scientific circulation. Of special interest is the adaptation process of the repatriates to the USSR after the World War II, as well as the elements of the traditional culture of pre-revolutionary Russia that were incorporated in their everyday life.
