Analytical estimation of the luminescence power of erbium ions in the active fiber preform

The luminescence power of erbium ions in the active fiber preform at a wavelength of 1, 53 um has been estimated. The data obtained make it possible to judge the possibility of correct measurement of the concentration of active erbium ions by the luminescence power and to choose the parameters of the elements of experimental installations.
