«In vivo» effect of the myelopeptides MP-5 and MP-6 on the production of reactive oxygen species, the production of pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines by peritoneal macrophages under normal conditions and under stress has been studied. «In vivo» effect of the myelopeptides MP-5 and MP-6 on macrophage apoptosis and the dynamics of corticosterone production under stress has been evaluated. It has been found out that the administration of myelopeptides to animals has a modulating effect on changes in the stress-induced production of reactive oxygen species, pro- and antiinflammatory cytokines. The introduction of MP-5 and MP-6 levels the inhibition of the microbicidal potential and production of IL-ф induced by immobilization stress. Myelopeptides did not influence apoptosis of peritoneal washout cells and corticosterone production under stress.
