The safety of underground mining of water-soluble ore deposits is mostly defined by the deformation intensity of load-carrying elements of the mining method with time. The complex of experimental and theoretical research of stress-strain state of the undermined salt massif allowed developing an estimation method of long term stability degree of interchamber pillars.
