On scientific and production activities of the Perm Research Institute of Agriculture

Abstract

This article gives a brief description of the formation, development and current activities of the Perm Research Institute of Agriculture of Perm Federal Research Centre, Ural Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences. The main scientific directions of the Perm Research Institute of Agriculture are described. The Institute continues traditional long-term stationary experiments started in 1968-
1978, as well as annually developed new directions in cooperation with structural subdivisions of PFRC UB RAS and with advanced scientific organizations. The Institute includes a department of agrotechnologies, three youth laboratories, certified analytical laboratory, production department, where scientific developments are tested, as well as subordinate enterprises “Federal” and “Preduralye” of the Research and Certification Centre.
